Terms of service
Last updated 9 October 2026. Effective 9 October 2026.
Draft for review. This is not legal advice and is not in effect yet. Highlighted items are placeholders.
These terms are an agreement between you and Schicksal Technology LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“we”), for using Minetecture. By making an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Minetecture.
Minecraft, mods and servers
Minetecture is an independent tool. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. Using Minecraft, schematic mods and any server is subject to their own terms and rules, which you are responsible for following.
Your account
- You must be at least 13, or the minimum age for using online services without a parent’s consent where you live.
- Keep your password to yourself, and your Google account safe if you sign in with it; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
Changes to the service
We keep improving Minetecture, so features may change and some may be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times, for example during maintenance. Keep your own copies of schematics that matter to you: we work hard not to lose data, but no online service can promise it never will.
Your content
The schematics, notes, messages and pictures you upload stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display them, and to send them to the AI models you ask to work on them, only to run the service for you. You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, including builds made by other people.
When you share a build, the people you add, or anyone signed in who has the link if you allow that, can open it and, as the role you give them allows, add notes or make changes. Share only with people you trust with it; you can remove anyone or stop sharing at any time. What they add stays theirs, under these same terms.
What the AI makes
- Designs come from AI models and can be wrong, odd or incomplete, so review every change before you accept it and before you build it in a world you care about.
- As far as the law allows, you may use the designs made for you however you like. Similar requests can lead to similar designs for other people.
- Materials lists and other counts are estimates; check them before you gather.
Fair use
Don’t use Minetecture to:
- upload anything illegal, or that you don’t have the right to share;
- harass anyone, or upload hateful, sexual or violent pictures;
- probe, overload or break the service, get around its limits, or upload files made to harm it;
- use other people’s accounts, or resell access without our permission.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
Plans and payment
Some plans are paid. Payments are handled by Stripe. Paid plans renew each period until you cancel, which you can do at any time from Settings; the plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for. A plan’s monthly AI credit does not carry over and has no cash value. Prices are shown before you pay. If we refund a payment in full, the paid plan ends at once and your account moves to the free plan. For billing questions or a refund request, write to billing@minetecture.app.
Ending
You can stop using Minetecture at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may end the service; if we do, we will give you reasonable notice to download your schematics first.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, worlds or builds, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes
If we change these terms, we will update the date above, and for important changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they apply. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
